Host Family

My host family is really nice and VERY well off. They consist of a 24 year old daughter, (Alejandra), a 27 year old brother (Luis), an awesome mother (Nery) and father (Jose). It would definitely seem as though Nery rules the roost but she is so kind and thoughtful. Although she doesn't speak any english, she takes the time to really make sure that I understand what she says. Also, they have a wonderful maid who made me a fabulous breakfast without me even asking. Egg, Ham and Cheese scramble, toast, apple slices and coffee just the way I like it in a Kalamazoo College mug. Also, I have my own bathroom in my room! It is really nice and everyone is super duper friendly and helpful. I am greatly enjoying my stay in Sabanilla thus far. Now if I can only figure out how to get around the barrio...
